A film director wants to make a politically charged movie, but is hampered by his producer. At the same time, a friend of his commits suicide, and he goes insane.

It was subsequently edited to accentuate the drama implicit in the series of images. The result is a greater degree of abstraction than in his earlier films and a more heightened violence.
